This school offers a unique alternative to traditional models of education by giving children complete freedom over their learning. Students at the forest School flourish in a nurturing environment that allows them to the freedom to chart their own course of learning while fostering emotional growth. The Free School model is much closer to the real world than traditional model. In the real world there are always mixes of ages of age groups working together and there are no teachers telling everyone what to do all the time. We as adults learned the hard way our responsibility for our own actions and needs. We found out we are naturally self-motivated self-sufficient and creative. In this environment children learn about the real world all the time.
